Help Our Gardens Grow and Thrive
Do you enjoy gardening, caring for plants, and spending time outdoors? St Jeanne Antide Foundation is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Gardener to help maintain and enhance the gardens and green spaces at Ċentru Antida, creating a welcoming and peaceful environment for the families and individuals who access our services.
Our gardens play an important role in making the centre feel warm, inviting, and connected to nature. By volunteering your time and skills, you will help ensure that these outdoor spaces remain healthy, attractive, and enjoyable for everyone who visits.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Volunteer Gardener, you may assist with:
- Watering plants, flowers, shrubs, and garden beds
- Caring for the centre’s internal courtyard garden
- Looking after indoor and outdoor plants
- Removing weeds and maintaining garden areas
- Pruning, trimming, and general plant care
- Helping keep outdoor spaces tidy and welcoming
- Supporting seasonal planting and garden improvement projects
Who We’re Looking For
This opportunity is ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys gardening, nature, and outdoor activities
- Has a basic knowledge of plant care (although enthusiasm is just as important)
- Is reliable, responsible, and committed
- Takes pride in maintaining attractive green spaces
- Enjoys making a positive difference in the community
- Can work independently and use their initiative
Time Commitment
We are looking for a volunteer who can dedicate approximately one hour per week, ideally during morning hours from Monday to Friday. Flexible arrangements may be discussed depending on availability.
