Usher for Science in the City post festival 2025

NGO BirdLife Malta and Science in the City are collaborating for a post festival event. The event is targeted to nature enthusiasts, families, and anyone curious about the wildlife in urban spaces. Through different activities, such as an engaging quiz and a treasure hunt, kids get the chance to learn specifically about the urban forager that is the White Wagtail. The goal is to raise awareness about the birds living in Valletta and to give an overview of what we can do to ensure bird safety.
We are seeking friendly, kind, and enthusiastic volunteers to help us support the event.
Location: Valletta Design Cluster, Valletta
Time: 11th January 3PM to 6PM
Volunteer tasks
- Usher people in and register tickets on Eventbrite app
- Assist the kids with different activities if necessary
- Taking pictures of the event for Science in the City social media platforms
- Support with logistics on the spot (arranging tables for example)
Volunteers will be provided with a certificate.
