VolServ, in collaboration with the Ministry for Health, the Elderly, and Community Care, organizes voluntary health services to support patients and their families at Malta’s main general hospital. Established in April 2007 under a service agreement between SOS Malta and the Ministry, VolServ aims to enhance patient care and comfort through dedicated volunteer efforts.

As a hospital volunteer, you will:

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to patients.
  • Assist with non-medical tasks, helping ease the workload of hospital staff.
  • Provide comfort and care to those in need, making a tangible impact on their hospital experience.
