Volunteer Teaching Opportunity with Blue Door Education – Make a Lasting Impact

Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for inclusion and empowerment? Blue Door Education, a registered NGO based in Valletta, Malta, is looking for dedicated volunteer teachers to join our vibrant team.

We provide free literacy and English language classes to adult refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants—both in person and online. Our mission is to equip learners with the tools they need to rebuild their lives and thrive in their new communities.

We are currently seeking qualified teachers (preferably in Literacy and/or English as a Foreign Language) who are available to teach on the following days and times:

• Mondays: 4:30–6:00pm or 6:00–7:30pm

• Thursdays: 4:30–6:00pm or 6:00–7:30pm

• Fridays: 10:30am–12:00pm (women-only class)

Our ideal volunteers hold a TEFL/CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification, and are eager to use their skills to support adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Experience in humanitarian or multicultural contexts is a plus.
